Terms and Conditions for Weddings
A DEPOSIT of 40% is required. On confirmation of deposit, reservation will be confirmed. SPECIAL arrangements can be made for deposit payments in writing.
All bookings are made on a FIRST DEPOSIT PAYMENT , FIRST BOOKING basis.
Deposit is NON REFUNDABLE should the wedding be cancelled by the bridal couple for whatever reason. In the event that the booking is cancelled or not honoured by Frans du Plessis Video Productions or its representatives the full deposit is REFUNDABLE by Frans du Plessis Productions and or its representative to this contract.
Deposit will be deducted from the final bill.
With payment of the deposit by the bridal couple and acceptance of deposit and confirmation of booking by Frans du Plessis Productions, both parties acknowledge their agreement to the terms and conditions as listed herein.
Balance of final bill is payable in CASH on the delivery day of the video / DVD.
This agreement is between Frans du Plessis Productions and the Bridal Couple and not by a THIRD PERSON responsible for payment.
Three fully edited DVD copies will be provided. Video's are available at an additional charge. Please note that a copyright exists on the video / DVD. Additional copies can be made at an additional cost.
An additional charge of R250-00 per hour will be charged after 22:00 . Any recording after 24:00 will be charged at R450-00 per hour .
All quotes provided are estimates only and is subject to change if the 22:00 time limit is exceeded. By doing this we are trying to get the main activities finished by 22:00. After 12 hours of recording we don't want to wait till 24:00 for the throwing of the garter ETC.
Travelling outside a 50 km radius from Frans du Plessis Productions offices will be charged at R2-00 per KM after the first 50 km have been deducted. Frans du Plessis Productions are situated in MoreletaPark, Pretoria. The cost off tollgates will be added to the final bill.
Sleeping arrangements may be required when travelling outside a 150 km radius from Frans du Plessis Productions offices. Any costs arising from the accommodation will be added to the final bill for the bridal couple.
The bridal couple must please make Seating and Food arrangements for Frans du Plessis Productions. Frans du Plessis Productions spend an average of between eight and twelve hours to record the bridal couple's special day and will need to take a break. No special seating is required.
Frans du Plessis Productions cannot be held responsible for the quality of the video/DVD arising from delays caused by Photographers, Guests, Family or acts of God, natural or unnatural.
Frans du Plessis Productions reserve the right to use any photos and video taken by them, and used in the final video, in adds, magazines etc. without any compensation to the parties involved. The Mini-DVD tapes / negatives remains the property of Frans du Plessis Productions, except if other arrangements have been made.
Frans du Plessis Productions proudly produce the highest possible quality DVD's.
Frans du Plessis Productions is registered as a Closed Corperation (CK 2005/158564/23) and is owned by Karlien du Plessis.
In the very unlikely event that should you experience any problems with your DVD's, please report it AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. We would gladly correct them. If it is reported within a week from delivery we can still correct it within hours, as your DVD files will still be available at our editors. Please note that you must report any problems within 30days from delivery. Any changes there after, will be for the bridal couples account. We had a couple that wanted guest removed from their DVD after a year… DVD’s will only be released once final payment has been made
